02 coupe civic radio
i have a 02 civic lx coupe, with antenna mounted inside the backshield glass.
took it for tinting, and the next morning realised i am not catching many radio channels, (all AM doesn't work, many FM aren't caught).
asked tinting people, they say they dont touch radio, only place a film, and wont/cant do anything
dealer will charge me 100 bucks just to find the antenna..
Questions I'm wondering:
1. could the tinting people have actually damaged antenna?
2. is there any wire that may have been disconnected? if so, where is it.. trunk?.. how do i get info on that.
3. any possible solutions..

I am not too sure where the antenna is on the back window.. however when I got my windows tinted they used a computer and laser cut around all the defrost wires and stuff on the window.. Maybe they covered the antenna with the tint and that's what is causing the bad reception?
I am not too sure.. have never heard of this problem.. sorry.

i would venture to guess that they cut it with a knife - but one question before i say that:
i have an old chevy truck and the antenna is in the windshield - it is a strip that runs around the edge of the windshield and you can feel it. IS this the same that is used in the later model (or something different ??) ? (because my truck is '73).
