Default 02 coupe civic radio

i have a 02 civic lx coupe, with antenna mounted inside the backshield glass.
took it for tinting, and the next morning realised i am not catching many radio channels, (all AM doesn't work, many FM aren't caught).

asked tinting people, they say they dont touch radio, only place a film, and wont/cant do anything
dealer will charge me 100 bucks just to find the antenna..

Questions I'm wondering:
1. could the tinting people have actually damaged antenna?
2. is there any wire that may have been disconnected? if so, where is it.. trunk?.. how do i get info on that.
3. any possible solutions..

I am not too sure where the antenna is on the back window.. however when I got my windows tinted they used a computer and laser cut around all the defrost wires and stuff on the window.. Maybe they covered the antenna with the tint and that's what is causing the bad reception?

I am not too sure.. have never heard of this problem.. sorry.

i would venture to guess that they cut it with a knife - but one question before i say that:
i have an old chevy truck and the antenna is in the windshield - it is a strip that runs around the edge of the windshield and you can feel it. IS this the same that is used in the later model (or something different ??) ? (because my truck is '73).

Yes it is, I have confirmed it with the dealership. 2002 Civic Coupe LX has it on its back glass shield.

Yes, mine was also laser cut and the defrost wires etc.. is all visible and tint was cut according to these lines.

02 coupe civic antenna seems to be in the middle of the rear glass.

i see. guess it is different.
need to find where the connection is made where it comes off of the glass - use ohmmeter to see if you have continuity
