2003 Civic 4dr Ex Auto.

Trans is 1.5 year and 30K on rebuild.

Seems to have a shifting problem that has developed in the last month.

Sometimes on the first drive of the day, when shifting from 3rd to 4th, it seems to have an issue. It is at 3800 RPM and feels like a governor is kicking in limiting my RPM and waivers +/- 100 RPM until I let off the gas. When i let off the gas it will either shift to 4th or stay in 3rd until it warms up a bit more.

Rarely I will find that it does this similar behavior on the highway, even after it is warm, when I try to downshift from 4th to 3rd.

The rebuild only had a 1yr warranty so I am SOL on help from them.

Any thoughts on where to start? I already changed the fluid (3 qt) once (no change). Before I run off and cycle 6 more quarts, I want to have an idea of what direction I am going in here.
