Hey all,

I am looking to buy some screws and inserts for an '05 Civic Coupe SI rear bumper. They are the screws that fasten in the wheel wells through the bumper where mud flaps would go. Does anyone know what type of thread it is?

On this picture it is #22 and #28

if you have a fastener supplier or hardware store they will be able to get you 5x16 screws, probably with washers. Places to check are Home Depot, Bolt Suply, Home Hardware, etc.

I'm willing to bet that any self-tapping screw will work as long as its long enough

i have not heard of a 5x16 screw, is that metric? like M5x16
I guess i will ask at home depot...

just a follow up, i bought some M5x16mm machine screws, nuts and washers and was able to do what i needed.
