'05 Civic front brakes rarely last more than 10K miles

It's not the the driving. Either I drive it or my wife drives it and nether one of abuse the car. We drive it very conservatively and avoid any hard stops.
We have an Acura MDX with 27K that we don't drive any differently and it's brakes look like they'll easily go another 27K.
I'm leaning on an underlying brake system issue that's eating pads. I'm planning on getting new calipers with this brake job. An inboard pad on the driver's side was worn more than the rest.
BTW, I always turn rotors with every brake job. I've done pads on other cars in the past without machining the rotors and each time the brakes squealed horribly and the rotors wore very unevenly. Never again.

ill be ordering these my next pad replacement 7th Gen Honda Civic Brake Package - StopTech Rotors And Centric Brake Pads also remember its extremely important to bed in your new pads.
