I kinda downsized for gas mileage. I had a 4 dr tacoma v6. Just bought this 05 civic 4dr limited ed. QUESTION: when getting out I get a HUGE shock... Is there any seat covers, or whatever that will work??? I cant take this--my truck did not do this. Anyway Help!
PS mine is the ex model-what mileage does anyone get on a full tank? I mostly do country driving-but lots of miles..... Love my little car-not the shocks.?>?>?>?>> Thanks, Dawn

 

There's this thing you can hang on ur car that drags on the road...help on the name anybody?...it's pretty common on soviet cars and I see them here from time to time

my 04 does that same thing with static...i just stopped sliding my *** on the seat when i get out of my car adn that seems to work.....as for gas mileage i get about 400-440 out of a fulltank however i have a 5 spd and i also drive highway miles to workeveryday

 

my bros EVO does it every once in awhile. and when it gets me, it shocks the hell out of me.

 

my '04 DX shocks the crap out of me too, icons, just a grounding strap that drags the ground? attached anywhere to metal on the under carriage? Dawn, for what its worth, I get about 38mpg on average.

 

Dawn, can't help with the shock thing. But I drive around 50 miles a day to and from work (avg 70 - 80 mph) and get 400 - 420 miles per tank.

 

I'm sorry, but your car hates you. I get shocked all the time in winter, but it doesn't do it too much in the summer. I get about 200 miles to the tank, on a good week.

 

I have an 02' EX sedan and it shocks me too. Sometimes enough to scare you. Fuel mileage - 360 to 400 to a tank. SCRUFF 007

 

I get up to 420 on one tank on my 94 ex standard.
