Default 05 Honda Civic LX SE audio help!

So I'm going to buy a new radio, two 12 inch alpine sub woofers and an amp that can handle the watts of coarse, but I have a couple of questions.... I just really don't know where to run any of the wires like the main power cable that goes to the battery. Basically I just want a tutorial on how to hook up this new system I'm going to buy and where to run the wiring. I hope someone can help! Thanks so much and I apologize if this is in the wrong section (I'm new to the site)

You mean "an amp that can provide the power", not handle it

Anyways, you can run the power wire down the side of the car, under all the beauty panels. not sure what that entails for your car, but for mine it was pretty simple. Mine just popped off. I also took the back seat out and hid the extra wire under it (not too hard in my 1999 sedan, again not too sure about yours).

One thing to keep in mind is that you should run the Power Wire on one side of the car, and the remote wire and RCAs on the OTHER side of the car.

Buy a wire kit from KnuKonceptz.com.

Thanks superfly! I didn't even think about running the wires on separate sides of the car but I will definitely do that! What I'm really having trouble with is trying to figure out how to take off my dashboard to get to my stock radio because I am replacing that as well. If anyone can provide with me a tutorial on how to do that and also a tutorial on how to remove the "beauty panels". I have a 2005 Honda Civic LX Special Edition sedan.

I need help on how to remove the dashboard to get to my radio. I found a video on youtube but that car is manual and mine is automatic. Can someone watch this video for me and tell me if this process will be any different with an automatic car? And if the process is different can you tell me exactly what I need to do. Thanks and here is the video link

Nevermind! I figured it out on my own, I'm pretty disappointed in the lack of help here. I really thought this was a community filled with lots of people willing to help.

Anyway here is a video to get your head unit replaced for an automatic honda.
