07 Drivers side axle wet with oil?

Any body know where this oil is from? Could it be from the rubber boot attached to the shaft? And how serious is it? Thanks.

Check the boots for cracks and splits. If it's on the middle of the axle it could just be motor oil that was spilled there upon removing the oil filter during an oil change.
