Default 1.5 or 1.6

I need to know how I can figure out if my 1993 Honda Civic EX Coupe's engine is a 1.5 litre or a 1.6. I would also like to know how I can tell what generation it is. So if anyone can help me it would be much appreciated.

The stock motor for that, the d16z6 is a 1.6L, all the others for that year(CX, DX, LX, VX) were 1.5L. (other than the SI which is a 1.6L as well)

92-95 are considered 5th gens

Yeah find the number on the block, it is on a flat place on the front right where the engine meets the transmission. It's right below the oil filler hole so expect to have to clean a bunch of oil off before you can read it.

If someone has been modifying you might find weird stuff like a VTEC head on a 1.5 liter block (the "mini-me" conversion).
