This is my 2nd civic (first was a 08) and now my 2nd civic in a row with this stupid blower motor resistor going bad within 50,000 miles (SHAME on you honda.. ffs make this **** last.)

I have no freaking clue how to get to this motor resistor is the problem.

You'll see in these photos 3 markers. Red Arrow is the motor resistor, Blue is the object blocking any access, and green are the 2 screens that seem to partially loosen whatever Blue arrow is.

But even with the removal of the two green screws, I cannot remove Blue arrow.

I'm in Arizona and it's almost unsafe to drive without this. Its a $52 part that I'd rather just do myself than pay easily $200 at a Honda dealer for with labor.
