My car has this thing where it will idle pretty low, almost like it will shut off but it doesn't shut off anymore. However, if I am driving, and I shut it off, it doesn't always like to start up right away, I have been told this should be just a matter of replacing solenoid valves, and that would take care of the idle problem as well. What I am wondering is if another newer year would be compatible with this year. It has the 1.5L Fuel Injected engine inside.

 

Won't start when hot you should always consider the main relay first. When it won't start, turn the key on but don't crank and listen for the fuel pump to run.

I don't think there is any solenoid or feedback on the idle speed for this model, you just adjust the throttle stop screw or air screw.

 

I knew to check for the fuel pump, it kicks on everytime.
