hey, so i'm a huge car newb. so if i posted this in the wrong place or i offend anyone with the stupidity of my questions, sorry in advance.

anyway.. i have a 1990 civic cx hatch, everything is stock.

i'm basically aiming for an engine that can hit at least 180hp.

also, i'm young and don't have all that much money.

so i was wondeing.. what would be the cheapest engine to swap into my civic? Which b-series engine or would it be easier to get a h22a in there?

and roughly how much would it cost?

i'm going to work on handling and the brakes after, one step at a time i guess.
