1990 honda civic si not starting
 

Hey i was wondering if anyone had any ideas to try....so far i have changed the fuel pump and can here it hum when i turn the ignition and i have checked if there is a spark and the spark plug is producing a spark i have also changed teh fuel filter and the pre fuel filter on the fuel pump and the engine still is not getting any gas any suggestions?

To do a quick check of the fuel system, disconnect the return hose which goes from the regulator on the fuel rail to the line on the firewall leading back to the tank, and direct the end of the hose into a container. Turn the key on and fuel should come out from the regulator while the pump primes. If it does, the fuel rail is getting gas and you should look elsewhere for why it is not starting, for example the timing. Also check that the injectors are firing by disconnecting one and plugging a #194 light bulb into the socket, the bulb should flash when you crank. It's remotely possible the regulator is bad, that would require testing with a gauge.

If no fuel is coming to the rail, check that your new pump is installed properly: the filter on the bottom needs to be secure so it doesn't suck air, and the + and - terminals need to be wired right.

Is it possible to have a clogged fuel line? And if so is there a cleaner for it?

Spark at the plugs should be bright white rather than weak orange or deep blue. What did yours look like?

Any CEL codes?

If those are fine, check the mechanical timing to see whether the timing belt skipped a tooth or two.
