While driving my civic lx this week on an interstate with cruise control set the tach and speedometer gauges fluxuated twice going from zero to max, the engine stayed running normal (no acceleration or power loss), the clock light flashed, the radio played normal, but then the cruise control kicked off and the engine power stopped (the engine shut off). When I safely stopped the car I had a hard time re-starting the engine. After eight attempts with the gas pedal fully depressed the engine started. The car ran fine until I returned home. I checked the fuzes under the dash and they are good. Any advise on what to check electronically?
