so my 1993 honda civic usually runs fine. A few times a week, especially on a hot day when I have been driving and stopping a bunch it will decide to start fine and then immediately die while in P or when I go into R to back out. When it does this it will take between 2 to 10 times to restart it. Then it proceeds to run fine again until the next time. I have replaced the fuel filter and the distributor recently and that has not helped. This problem is embarassing when it happens and particularly fraustrating when I drive at night for Dominos. Please, somebody help with what it may be. I have taken it to a mechanic several times and they always tell me there is nothing they see that is wrong. It has never done it when I get up in the morning or it has been sitting for more than an hour or so. Boggles my mind...
