Default 2 Questions...Tranny Switch & Headlights

First question is. I currently drive an Automatic '99 EX. I wanna switch to standard. Due to some reasons I cannot currently sell my car for a standard. Anyone have an estimated cost for a standard transmission and installation?

And...I'm looking to improve my headlights. I want to either get HID's or an HID look alike. Will stock housing work with HID's? I have been trying to find kits for a '99 EX but all the prices are completely different. I'm not sure what to believe is the best and get what I need. If anyone can send a link to the HID Kit that I should purchase in order to get what i'm looking for that would be a great help. Or if anyone knows where to find some bulbs that are alike in color and brightness that would be worth looking at.

Thanks to anyone in advance that can help me out with either...

Paying someone to do an HID retrofit to your stock headlights is gonna run you at LEAST $400 parts and labor. Doing a manual swap is gonna run you at LEAST $900 for parts, labor, etc. G/L Check ebay and junkyards for the manual swap parts, and ebay for the HID parts (i.e. projectors, bulbs, shrouds, ballasts, etc.)
