You might have blown a fuse. There is a fuse box under the driver's side dash, check all the fuses in there. Also make sure your wiring is OK because i think you caused a short circuit when you initially wired it.

also note, your generation of car generally requires the factory radio to be intact for keyless entry/power door locks to work properly

old generations do not have this requirement

well i checked all fuses allready and changed most of them too and i asked a honda dealer in the service dept and he said that the factory radio doesnt have anything to do with it and the guy at the stereo shop had a tester and said it was a relay but doesnt know which relay

i think i have the same problem as you in my 2002 civix lx. one day while i was driving, the power to my aftermarket head unit just went out. then when i took it out to check the wiring, the power locks and keyless entry stopped working. the power locks only work now when the car is on. the dome light also doesnt turn on anymore when i open the door or take the key out of the ignition. i checked the wiring and checked and replaced the fuses for both the radio and the power locks,i also re-checked the wiring and they doesnt seem to be a short circuit

nevermind i figured it out, the 10A "Back Up" fuse in the fuse box in the engine bay needed to be replaced

Bnguyen...thank so much for posting about the backup fuse...I just did this all today and was gonna pull it all back out again in the morning until I saw that. Ran down, checked it, and it was blown. Thank you so much!
