bleed a coolant system?
i have a 1999 honda civic ex and i need to know how to get the air out of the coolant system.
i've read that there is a coolant bleed bolt but i dont know where it's located at on my car. if anyone could tell me and give the step by step on how to properly bleed the system that would be great!

^^ pretty much.
You can raise the front end of the car to make the bubbles come out faster. Once the temp gauge starts to move up on the cluster, turn the heat on in the car. It will push out any bubbles trapped in the heater core. You are essentially waiting for the tstat to open to flush out air bubbles in the motor. It can take up to 30 mins since these motors do not create too much heat.
