2003 Honda Civix LX idling erratically.
Hello all,
I'v been having this problem for more than a year now and the Dealer is giving me a run around for this problem. I'm fed up with them now and I'm turning to the forums.
The car only has 60,000 km and is in great shape. When the car warms up( usually after driving for a while) the RPM will drop really really low and would start vibrating and most of the time it will stall. Usually happens when I stop at a red light. I will have to take my foot off the brake and the car won't stall. The Check Engine light will come on sometimes and sometimes it won't
Also notice that when I'm driving at any speed I will feel the car shoot forward sometimes and then sometimes feel like it's slowing down. At one point the car started bucking while driving (RPM moving erratically)
Also sometimes when I stop and put the car in Park, the RPM will start racing and does not come down. At that point I turn the car off.
The Dealership said that it's probably the Idle sensor, but "Probably" does not help me at all[:@]. Any suggestions Please.

This happened to me when the TPS went bad when I had a Chevy...but first I agree that you have to pull the codes to check what is really wrong...they won't charge you for it in Autozone...
