2004 Civic
I'm looking at a 2004 Civic. 45,000 miles, but, has had the following in the last year. Maintenance inspection completed
Water pump replaced
Timing belt replaced
Camshaft and crankshaft seals replaced
Drive belt(s) replaced
Should I be concerned, or is this normal for a 10 yr old car

yes for one the mileage seems low for a ten year old car unless some granny only used it to go to church but that seems unlikely. i would carfax or something similar also have a mechanic of your choosing inspect the car for signs of an accident or engine replacement. the 01-05 civic had faulty automatic transmissions they supposedly fixed it in 05 but it was more of a band-aid then a fix also the D17 engines had a pretty high head gasket failure rate. other then that no.

It is normal to do the timing belt job at 10 years regardless of miles. The belt is made of rubber and will deteriorate over time whether it is used or not. Like the other guy said, avoid automatic Civics in general.
