Installed a push start rather then 600 dollar tumblers and my transmission hates it. Get a short fault. Blinks D and won't shift.

I missed something, some bypass? Please help.

 

I ripped off the ignition switch system. Spliced in a push button and a switch/relay to power on ignition and acc at same time. Do I have to time the circuits, instead of all on or brake bypass? I do notice the car can be started without brake pressed now.
