Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone have the same problem as me.
When I start the car, it's fine, everything is quiet, but after 30 seconds, i hear this fanning noise coming from the engine.
And it shuts off in about 10 seconds, and then it turns on again and off again. This is all happening without me even driving...

I just got this car last night from the dealership. The sound isn't very loud but it is very annoying. Oh right one thing to add to
this is that, my A/C is constantly on, you think this noise has anything to do with me turning the AC on all the time? Like as in
right when i start the car, my A/C is on.

 

my Si will make a fan noise like any car would with the AC on but It's not on all the time....I would think the climate controls are the same so I'm not sure why yours is "always" on?

 

oh it's always on because my friend told me to keep it running for a while to test out things. So I just kept it on. But my question is not the noise inside the car when A/C comes out of the vents. The noise is coming from the engine in front. It sounds almost like a computer fan, turns on for a moment and then shuts off and then on and off, it's not very loud but loud enough for me to notice and get annoyed. But I'm going to turn the A/C off tonight and see if that noise still exists... i really hope not.

 

My wife is complaining about that same sort of thing (it's her car), I think it's probably the compressor coming on and off, it usually doesn't run all the time but only as needed, otherwise things could get too cold.

 

I've noticed when I shut the A/C off, I don't hear that sound from the engine anymore.
