Default 2006 Civic Service Manual - brakes

Hi All,

I'm looking for the pages from the manual for a 2006 Civic LX. I'm doing the brake pad replacement and would like to know the torque specs for the caliper bolts. If they are the same as the previous year civics, then I'm cool. Just want to verify that they are.

Thanks!

Caliper bolts 37ft/lb
Caliper bracket bolts 80ft/lb
brake hose bolt 25ft/lb
bleeder screw 7ft/lb

these torque specs are from the 2006 Honda Civic 4dr service manual

thanks... what about the bolt where the caliper slides on. I think that's different from the caliper bolts, right?

Hey JGB3, is there any chance that this manual is available as a free download?

caliper bolts= the bolts that screw into the caliper slides on the caliper bracket
caliper bracket bolts=the bolts that hold the caliper bracket to the knuckle
brake hose bolt=brake hose bolt
bleeder screw=bleeder screw

37 lb-ft? I would have thought it was more like 25-27. Thanks.

Thanks for the link TheJGB3. Unfortunately for me, this particular Civic manual only works on a PC. As I am on a Mac and loathe to install Windows, I am sh*t out of luck. If you happen to come across any other 8th generation Civic manuals, please let me know.

I'm on a PC. I expanded the file (which took a while), the html page had broken scripts and such. It didn't work for me.

Know of any PDF versions of the manual? Seems like the 2006+ model service manuals are hard to come by.
