I just bought this 2014 Honda Civic Coupe... 3 days ago and I am seeing a "check air bag" message on the dash. I don't know the history but it is in excellent shape and doesn't appear to have any bodywork or have any prior damage. I haven't hit anything, not a pot hole, nor curb since the purchase. No light warnings prior till this morning.


So where should I start to look for sensors? It came on first thing this morning before I even left the my carport. It stayed on till I got the gas station, I reclicked the seat belts and got gas. Before I pulled away it was off... and as I accelerated from the station it came on again and stayed on.


I have had a different civic before that had an issue in the bumper and would go off and on dependent upon speed. This one doesn't appear to do that.
