Default 6th gen window off track

so i seen there was a recall or something about the driver side window falling off track all the time on the 97 civics, am i still avalible for that? cause my window is off track and i have no idea how to fix it, but what im worried about is if i pay someone to fix it, will it happen again? what would i need or what should i do?

Ok
It is a rather quick fix once you get good at it
15 min tops

To remove door panels there are five screws I believe u need to take out and then three to take speaker off.

There is one behind inside door handle, one in the little holder thing and the others are behind speaker.

Once you unscrew these take off the trim pieces. To take off the one in armrest put a flat head screwdriver underneath and pry up.

For the speaker screwdriver and pop it off you will see the screws

Then for the panel to take it off just put screwdriver in-between panel and door and pop around the edge not the top edge but the bottom and side

Then there is a 10 mm bolt that u should remove to place window back on track. Once done lube everything up nicely and put everything back.

Putting the door panel on is sometimes difficult.

I do not know how to really describe it but put one corner of the top part in and then work your way back.

The problem is with a faulty window regulator I do not know if you are still eligible, I never go to the stealership.

Nice job Josh. Also spray some Silicone lubricant into the rubber side channels where the window edges slide.

ohh u have manual... same story but kinda different. i hate to say it but i believe its just a tsb(technical service bulletin) so you arent gonna get it done for free. but ya i will do a full write up eventually. but you can get away w/out lube for awhile.

Is there supose to be a bolt in the bottom of the hanger track? or does it just float? I need to know cause Im having the same problem, seen the hole in the bottom of the track and thought the bolt fell out.
