Red face 87 Civic Carburator woes

My 1987 Civic hatchback needs help, I read somewhere in the recent past that you could eliminate all the vacumm hoses ( 35 or so) and make the carburator work properly without those attachments. Can you help as to how to do it ????

I doubt you eliminate ALL the vac lines, although you may be able to eliminate some, maybe even most of them.

Carbs are a dead species on the civics... I hope someone on here has the knowledge to help you out.
