Angry 91 Wagon Clutch

This is the craziest thing I’ve had to deal with in a car, getting a new clutch for a Civic Wagon 1991. Simple right, go to favorite vendor, order clutch, simple. Not so fast. First it’s handy that most clutches fit the 1.5 and 1.6L motors. Next, Most clutches don’t fit the RT, 4WD and Wagon, a little disclaimer at the end of the description page. Now, I have found a clutch for the 4WD and Wagon, but, it is only for the 1.6L motor. What the heck? Now the two motors don’t match? What is so special about the 4WD and Wagon? Has anyone tackled this issue before? I have extended the throw out bearing for deeper reach to no avail, could the clutch cable be shot not allowing for proper engagement with the pressure plate? My final thought is to swap the transmission out with a sedan’s and cross my fingers I get a good used tranny. Help, thoughts, source for a proper clutch. Thanks for your time.
