i have the plastiC piece that goes over the lock and door handle now and i only hear it click when it locks and when i try to i unlock it it doesnt click and my dorr wont open. when i tried to unlock my door agian a few mins ago i heard something fall inside the door. the window can move up and down and i am unable to remove the door panel because i cant open the door. is there any way i can open the door without busting the latch? or destroying my door panel? what is the problem and how can i fix it/ or remove it?

oh and when i try to open the door from the outside i feel resistance on the door handle. i got the door panel off and found a broken plastic peice the bars that gors to the lock cylanders and door handles are fine exept the inside door lockswitch it moves freely in circles. any idea how i can get the door open?
