93 Civic turns but doesn't crank
Hey all,
I have a 1993 DX hatch that has not been starting reliably. It sounds like it's about to crank, but it doesn't make that final turn to the start. The battery is only a few months old, the alternator is in good condition, and the starter is working at a good speed, but the electrical aspect of the start seems to work so I'm not too worried about that. I replaced the fuel pump and the main relay last month which seemed to be the fix for about a week until the same symptoms appeared again. As far as temperature sensitivity is concerned: I live in South Carolina and it's been between 20 and 70F over the past month, so I can't quite say I've gotten to test it under consistent conditions. Note: It does start on seemingly random occasions, so whatever is not working isn't completely gone.
This is all I can think of concerning the issue, but if you need any more information let me know.
Thanks in advance
