Why would you do that? Transmission fluid is only leaking from where the axle inserts into the transmission, right?

Enter you VIN and then navigate to the Transmission Housing section. Part 10 is what you need.

Those two leaks may be one and the same. Replace the axle seal and go from there.

Do I see the driver or passenger side axle CV joint in you picture? If it's the driver side, then buy part 12 in the Majestic illustration that you posted (post #8).

Always refer to the side of the car from the car's perspective, or if you were standing behind the car facing forward. Anything on the drivers side of a US model is a LEFT side part.

The two axle seals can be replaced with the transmission still in the car. To replace the other seals, you would need to remove the transmission and take it apart.

If an axle isn't pushed all the way in, it will leak. But since you found the transmission empty before removing it to change the clutch, that probably isn't it.

Majestic is great but ordering a single small part from them isn't worth it. They charge $5.00 per order "handling" which will eat up the discount before you even get to shipping. Most parts stores or of course your local Honda dealer can supply these seals.
