Default 93 EX 1.6 Exhaust manifold-downpipe gasket

So i went to Advance auto parts and Autozone today looking for a gasket that goes between hte exhaust manifold and downpipe. They kept giving me the donut rings for the catalytic converter to downpipe gasket and it wasn't listed in their computers and they said that the civic came with a one piece manifold. Then they told me to go to Honda. Why are these things hard to find? Thanks

Also i just checked the Honda Estore and they show that my manifold fits crush rings on it but i am pretty sure there is no indentions for it and it has a flat faced gasket on it now. This is so frustrating!

well it could look like it doesnt cause the crush ring is smashed in there.. MAYBE.

alls i know is thats what the dealership sold me. just a small thin ring.

Damn, i just got some from Advance for almost 10 dollars for 2. what will it cost for shipping? shouldn'tbe to much since imnot too far from you

Actually i just checked USPS.com maximum thinkness is 1/4 inch for a large envelope, and 1 ounce to 3.5 ounces its under a dollar.

thats why you should buy your important parts from the dealership! OEM perfect fit!

they have or can get just about every part for your car! ive only had to wait usualy 1day to get my parts they had to order in. ive only had ONE time where there warehouse had the bolts i needed on backorder with no estimated time. tho my parts counter guy is cool and put in a CRITICAL order and they found the bolts i needed at another dealership which took like 3-4days.

MOST THE TIME you get what you pay for...
