helloI have a 94 civic sohc runs great till 2 weeks ago. Inotice it need it tires so I stop runnng it till today. I went to start it and it had a dead battery.I jump the car and my son said he had ran the car until it ran out gas. So I had him put gas in the car but and try to start it and it would not start. I spray gas in the intake and motor stared and shut down quikly. I did it about 10 times and it did the same. Like if is not picking up the gas. What do you all think I can do to get it started? thanks nick

 

Do you hear the fuel pump run for a couple of seconds when you turn the key on but don't crank the engine?

Maybe the main relay or fuel pump has quit at this point; it just seemed like it was out of gas.

 

check all fuses and relays, try running an obd scanner for any codes if your check engine light is on.
