Default 95 Civic, Removing SRS?

New to the forum and I've researched the SRS light problem for months now and I've come to the conclusion on trying something. Is there any way I can remove the entire SRS system from my 95 civic, and the SRS light will go out and my horn will still work? Is there something I can unplug or remove from the car? I apologize if this question has been asked before. Thanks to anyone in advance.

In most or all states that require safety inspections, removed SRS will cause the car to fail. The law is that you have to keep the safety equipment that was provided when the car was new.

Of course you could remove all the parts or unplug them. There are 4 major parts: the two air bags, the sensor / control module mounted on the "hump" in the center of the car under the dash, and the warning light. All the air bag wiring is bright yellow to discourage you from tampering with it.

Disconnect the battery first and wait several minutes to reduce the chance of inadvertent deployment of an air bag, which can be FATAL. Use the red safety jumpers on the air bags. To make the light stay out you will need to unplug the yellow plug from the back of the cluster.

The horn is a separate circuit with separate buttons on the side arms of the wheel. If your horn doesn't work now it could be because the clock spring is broken, which will also disable the driver's air bag and light the SRS warning light.

Why not diagnose and fix the problem instead?

I wanted to fix the problem, but my wheel will not come off. The center nut will not budge, I tried pb blaster, wd40 and breaker bar. Wouldn't move at all. Also, there are multiple yellow wires under my dash that are not plugged in but there are no female ends to plug them into.
