Default 95 Civix DX A/C Compressor Replacement

I have a need to replace the A/C Compressor - the housing's cracked, the unit itself won't turn, and is slightly skewed towards the back of the engine (like the belt pulled on something so hard and pulled it back).

I'm reading this post (there were others, but they were the same post), and can't fathom how to remove the compressor.

https://www.hondacivicforum.com/m_13338/tm.htm

Here's what I've done so far:

1) removed the exhaust heat shield
2) moved the power steering pump out of the way to give me access to the A/C Comp below.
3) scratched my head a lot
4) took the bolts off the timing belt cover so I could try to remove it to gain access to the tensioner
5) discovered I don't know how to get the timing belt cover off
6) discovered none of the tools I have will get over in thar'
7) discovered I just don't know how to get this A/C off

I probably can cut the belt off (since it's loose, all torn up and squeals).

Where do I go next? Do I have to pull the engine out of the car to get at this thing? It's really tight in there...

Any help/suggestions greatly appreciated.
