Building up a 95 ex vetc coupe manual and need a ecu. the ecu p/n is listed 37820-P28-A02.The DelSol equivalent has the sameecu, but is the progarmming the same?I would assume that since the p/n are the same for the 2 cars they are identical including programming, but who knows?

5spd = 000, 001, 002, 003, A00, A01, A02, C00, C01, C02, J00, J01, J02, G00, G01
Auto = J50, J51, 901, 902, C50, C51, C52, A50, A51, A52, L50, L51, G51

from the patterns we can learn the following:
first letter = country of orgin
J = Japan
C= Canada
A=USA
G=Europe
L=California (C.A.R.B.) OR High Altitude States
second digit, if 5, 7, 9 then ecu is auto usually
third digit denotes the version/variation


For example A02 means: America - Manual - Second version/variation







Furthermore, you can buy an auto ECU cheaper and convert it to a manual ECU with simple soldering. I can convert the ECU for you if you aren't comfortable soldering.

I pulled one off ebay yesterday. I will eventually try the resistor remove/jumper method just for the hell of it, and to have a spare. salvage yards are getting 350 bucks for the P28 manual. I paid out 125. I just hope it works!
