Default 97 civic idle issue

it reves up and down when warm. anyone have a cleaning procedure for the iac?

Is the CEL ON?

See link in my signature for IACV cleaning.

Also:
-check for a vacuum/intake air leak
-top off radiator and bleed the cooling system

Talking idle issue fixed!

hey guys, i had to scrub the sensor clean w/ a tooth brush. also did the tb and scrubed everything clean!

Did it solve the idle problem?

Talking idle issue

it idles at 800, where it should, but is going up a bit then back down slightly. it isn't at 2000 like it had been.

Try bleeding the cooling system.
