My 1997 Civic just stopped on the road. The Car will turn over but will not start. When the car was towed home I again tryed to jump start it and noticed that the Oil light and a couple of other infomation lights were on even when the key was removed.

 

Pull up the hand brake handle. Then turn the key to start. While it is cranking, does the BRAKE light on the dash stay on? If not it's likely a bad ignition switch, since it doesn't seem to turn off properly either.

 

It was the coil. Maybe the low battery made the lights go crazy. Kinda strange but it is working
