98 Civic (Hot outside->brake pedal to floor -> engine revs high

My 98 had a high reving engine because of a dirty iac valve and rotted vaccum hose to the cruise control. I removed & cleaned iac valve and replaced hose. But not sure about the brake pedal going all the way down.

did it rev high all the time or only when hot ?

chek ur iac valve. may be clogged
