Default 98 Civic Wiring Problem

98 Civic LX. I have a broken wire in the area between the driver's door and the body. How the heck do you separate the in door harness from the harness that goes into the body? It looks like there's a connector where the body harness goes into the door but I was inside the door and just can't see how to get this apart.

Suggestions anyone?

Thanks much!

The door harness includes all the wires inside the door. You'd unplug all the parts in the door and put the new harness in.

The issue though is that I can't see how to separate the door harness from the harness that goes into the body. I looks like there's connector at the front edge of the door (both according to visual inspection and according to the service manual) but I can't find any way to release or separate that connector. I can't feel or see any release mechanism like there is on all other Honda connectors. I'm stumped!
