i need advice for this car I own. First off I have done the fuel cap, fuel neck, gas tank, evap hose with the tee in it and timing belt even though it was not part of the problem. I did all of those issues to fix the fuel smells and leaks. I have reset the code a couple times. I do smell fuel now when it's running from the back. I narrowed it down now to the vent pressure sensor that ties into the frame. When I unplugged it. It stopped which in my opinion means something is controlling it to do it. So what sensor would telling it to do it which I don't think is the case. So I pull the ecu because I have seen that was a old problem and I do have burnt rust bubble on the procesor or what looks to be. I don't know if that is the issue or supposed to be like that? Or I'm looking for other opinions.
