hello everyone.

i have a 2005 CIVIC LX 4-doors, 29,900+ miles. The front wheel is having the cv joint weird cracking noise, is not alot still but is there and sounds like BAN BAN a few times hard.

So i need advice on any bad effects this can cause beside just the noise, like losing a wheel or something..

Like how much can cost to fix this problem to change cv joints ?? Also is this include in the Guarantee i get with the car when i buy it new at the dealer, I remenber about having like 3 years or im not sure how this works just asking in case any know. ty

 

See if it is reallya CV joint or something else. Bad CV joints will almost without exception have the rubber boot damaged and grease leaking out.

You should have a 3 year 36,000 mile warranty and if under these limits would cover almost everything unless it is damage caused by running over something, etc.
