I have a 94 cx hatch,just got it & air bag system light is on.Other than pulling the bulb how do you kill it,and /or what caused this. never crashed...

 

Not sure exactly how it happens, but my dad's mazda has the same problem.Other than pulling the bulb it is beyond me. If you find out let me know.

 

If you can use a scan tool to pull the codes to your srs system it should tell you why it is on.

 

fix it. dont just pull the bulb. its on because it has a problem and it wont work if you get in an accident.

 

Who needs dam air bags anyway, seat belt will do it's job!

if airbags didnt save lives, they wouldnt be in ALL brand new cars. yeah, there are those stories of people who died, who could have lived if not for the 'bag, but comeon, the statistics dont back that up. get it fixed. youll regret it if you kill your girlfriend or your little brother or something and the cops say they would have lived if the air bags had gone off.

 

Or you can go to wal mart and buy some fluffy pillows for $20 and just tape it on.

 

Yeah. That way you won't be able to see the light and it won't bother you:-D

 

thats funny, but when i got in my acciedant i just put my arms over my face so i didnt really need the airbag. BUT, it is there for a reason.
