Hey this is my first post. Hope someone can help me with this ... seems like my 2001 Honda civic's air conditioning has quit on me. I took it to an air conditioning shop and they said it must be something electrical because the whole system is fully charged and should work. When I hit the ac button, nothing happens, the light comes on and that's it. Is there a fuse or something that is preventing the system from operating? What can I look for?

Did you check the compressor and compressor clutch? Also, why didn't the shop tell you what was wrong with the A/C?
