Default Airbags!

I hope I'm posting this in the right place. Here's my question. Recently I was in a car accident where I T-boned a woman (who ran the sign) and I'm not sure exactly how fast I was going. My car was totalled and the front fender was almost completely off and the hood bent, and you get the idea.

My airbags did not deploy, I talked to my dealership and they said it was because I was not going over 30 mph. However, the woman that I hit, her airbags did. She had some dents to her right side of her car (95 Honda Civic), but they were nothing compared to mine. Her car was no where near totalled. I guess I just don't understand why her driver airbag went off?? Any ideas?

i think the air bag sensor is located in the front of the car , where ? i dont know cause when i first got my civic , i pulled out the engine & trans ,also i took off the front bumper , hood , headlights & grill , everything down to the radator support & after i put everything back togeather i realized i didnt see an airbag sensor , so maybe its under the dashboard?, but it think the reason it didnt go off is because you got hit on the side?, & i think what honda told you is bs ,cause if you sitting at a stoplight & some *** slams into you head on doing 80mph , you mean its not going to work?

There are 3 airbag sensors on Civics. Older ones anyway....

You have to break 2 out of 3 of them for the airbags to deploy.
