Default Alternator Question ?

I Have A 2001 HOnda Civic Ex. Recently my alternator went out. I don't have the funds to fix it. So my Brother Game Me One He HAd From a Earlier swap he did on his car. He Has 95 honda civic D15 Jdm . I gotta D17a2. I replaced the alternator The holes line up and everything is good except there is still slack in the belt even with it all the way out on the bottom bracket. So SHould i Just by a smaller belt or should i get another alternator.

Either smaller belt or swap the pulley off of your old alternator (I'm guessing that it is larger). It will probably take an impact wrench to loosen the pulley nut without just having the shaft spin.

Under what circumstances does it die? We need to know this to help diagnose it.

And what's with your weird capitalization you got going on there?

Do not remove the battery cables with the engine running. To test the charging system, measure the battery voltage with the engine running. If you don't have a voltmeter, get one. You will need it because clearly your car has an electrical problem.

Yeah, that is way too low. Run to the auto parts store and get the free battery and alternator test so you can figure out which of the two needs replacement.
