Default Alternator replacement

Is it just me or everybody has it? Any time I'm replacing alternator, it's pain in the *** to put it into braket. [:@]

If you take off the intake manifold its 1 million times easier id bet. When I had mine off the alternator was RIGHT there.

Yep, this is way easier

But taking off intake manifold just for alternator replacement? I usually prefer not to touch things I don't absolutely have to, much less trouble at the end on average... again, may be it's just me...

For my car, it was difficult but I was able to push it out the wheel well by bending some plastic wheel well wall back a bit.

Removing it from the engine bay and returning it there is difficult, too. But I'm talking about putting alternator back into its C-shaped braket and inserting the long bolt. That's the part that drives me nuts every time on every car. [:@]
