I am getting very annoyed with my gas pedal. when i let off the clutch and press on the gas slowly, the gas pedal sticks for a second and the car doesnt recieve enough gas. then when i press a little bit harder the car revs up pretty high. can a get someones opinion on what may be causing the problem?

 

This actually happened on my dads truck turned out his throttle body was just dirty making the throttle plate stick closed try gettting some throttle body cleaner and a toothbrush and clean it up some. It might help a little bit. Other than that the cable could be getting stuck on something.

 

Check ur cable tension. if its loose it will stick mine did the same thing
