Default gas pedal sticks

my gas pedal sticks most of the time, any idea how to get that fixed, and how much it will cost?

when i was trying to bend my gas pedal closer to the brake for heel and toe, it bound a little, there is a chance that the same thing is happening to yours. try to figure out if its the pedal sticking, or the cable. it could be as simple as spraying the cable with WD-40.

the only actual time I would ever use it is in circuit racing. daily driving and auto-x are too fast paced for H/T. its used when coming in fast to a tight corner, and you need to downshift and accelerate once you clear it. you push in the clutch, press the brake while downshifting, and as you hit the corner, you reach over and hit the gas with your heel, so that the revs are up when you get done shifting down and release the clutch pedal.

This may really sound silly but Ive had the pedal stick a couple of times on me and come to find out it was the pedal wedged down by the floor mat.

I find that it's too hard for me to heel-toe with my big-*** size 13's, so I just nail the gas real quick, then downshift and brake, and I still hit the rev match just fine... it takes a couple tries to get the timing just right, cause you have to be fast.

i usually just abandon the brake for a split second, hit the gas (love that 9# flywheel), and get back to braking. that works great. not as good as the heel/toes ive pulled off, but its fine for me. maybe with the steering wheel up higher.

Yeah, but 4G base steering wheels don't tilt.... bit of a problem sometimes. I just love how low and flat the car is though... It's like a big go kart
