I'm in the market for a 92-95 5-speed hatchback, preferably the DX trim level. I found a nice hatch recently in good condition, 100k miles but it's the CX level. From what I've read, the CX came with only a 70hp engine. How much of the fun-to-drive factor takes a hit with the lower output engine?

I don't plan on doing any mods to the engine but want to keep it stock. This will just be a weekend car to drive around for fun. Can other CX owners offer their comments on how well the car accelerates/passes/etc. in everyday driving?
