any thoughts...
i have been having a problems with my vents recently....all of them. regardless of whether i have the air/heat on, just have the vents open, or if i am using the defog, the vents will sparadically work. by this i mean for the most part, no air comes through them, but every once in awhile, they will work. sometimes when i first start up the car and sometimes 30 minutes after. its the vents facing the driver/passenger, the vents for the windshield and the vents facing towards the driver/passenger legs. its an 04 civic ex. anybody had this problem before or have an idea what might be causing it. thanks for the help/advice.

RE: any thoughts...
Sounds like a problem with the blower fan. Can you hear the fan still running though no air comes out of the vents?

RE: any thoughts...
i retrieved the DTC which i noticed in another post. there were 12 blinks = a problem in the blower motor circuit. checked the fuses and they seem fine. i guess my next step is to check the blower motor...where would that be located?? thanks

Check behind the glove box - the post you mentioned also details the troubleshooting procedure to identify the faulty component.

RE: any thoughts...
if you take out the blower assembly, check for loose insulation that could cause the fan to stop.
