1. we don't know what year Civic you have
2. search and you will find what you need. Question has been answered, with diagrams, like 10 times.

you can just replace the broken switch instead of the whole assembly. this will make the repair easier since you won't have to remove the steering wheel. at least that was the case on the 5th and 6th gen civics I've worked on.

I got a 94 eg hatch... hmm I think I did something wrong.. now my low beam doesnt work at all but when I go on to high beam than pull the switch in it goes to low beam lol.... when i changed it I put everything exactly the same. Any one know the problem before i take the whole thing apart and read through a stack of manuals lol

Combination Switch Fix (Headlight Switch)
https://www.hondacivicforum.com/foru...ad.php?t=74275

To remove it:
1. Remove the steering column cover (2-3 screws?)
2. Turn the steering wheel until you can see the 2 screws holding the combination switch in place. Remove them.
3. Pull out the switch and unplug. Then follow my DIY (link above^^) to clean switch.

If your switch doesn't work after following my DIY go to my for sale thread (link below vv)
